The early days of summer have arrived, and a Clovis attraction will give its customers a new way to beat the heat.
Wild Water Adventure Park has installed a
new ride that includes some high tech components. It challenges riders to navigate the course that has many twists and turns, and combines gaming with fun in the water.
This new style of slide, which has been dubbed “slide boarding”, is interactive. Users, who ride in a tube, aim to hit the 22 different targets, and the closer they are able to get, the higher their score will be. Once they have completed the course, they will receive their score, which they can then post on social media to boast and challenge their friends to beat it.
This new attraction is the only one of its kind in the state and one of just five in the whole country. According to Kathy Siggers, who is the park’s co-owner, she feels this type of slide will become increasingly popular, and the industry will see more rides that include high tech components. A variety of ad specialties can be created by a Print company to help promote businesses such as this to the public.
So far, there is no title for this new slide, and a contest is being held among the park’s patrons to give it a name. Further details about Wild Water Adventures can be found on its website.
