Clovis to celebrate local beer

The city of Clovis will be hosting a celebration that will showcase all that the local microbrewery community has to offer area beer lovers.

The Old Town Clovis Craft Beer Crawl will include an assortment of activities that will give participants a chance to discover the offerings from the area’s microbreweries. There will be beer tastings, live entertainment and street performers, a home brewing contest for those who enjoy making their own libations, a facial hair contest, and bottle sales.

Experts in the field of craft brewing will be giving presentations, an assortment of food trucks will be on hand to feed the crowd, and The Black Pot Cookoff will feature cowboy-style cooking.

Each person who registers will receive a map of the crawl, and as they follow it, they will be able to stop at each of the locations to talk with representatives from the different breweries about the products they craft. The list of participating establishments is always growing, with new ones added as the event approaches. Brochure printers can produce route maps and other items that can help people to make the most of an event like this.

The Old Town Clovis Craft Beer Crawl will be held on Sunday, March 12. Tickets are $35 in advance and $45 on the day of the event. More information can be found on the organizer’s website.
