The shopping center at Herndon and Clovis avenues is looking up now that the center has new owners who have renovation plans.
Across the street from thriving Clovis Crossing Shopping Center, the Trading Post Shopping Center has stood with its anchor store being long vacant. Save Mart moved out of the center in 2007 and CVS recently left as well, leaving the property with only a third of the center occupied.
The Trading Posts, which boasts 119,000 square feet for retail use, is being rehabbed to attract new tenants. The property is in escrow to Rich Development, a Southern California-based company that built the El Paseo Marketplace near Highway 99 and Herndon.
Rich has already submitted plans to the city of Clovis for renovating the shopping center. These include 10,400 square feet of the existing parking lot to be divided into two new pads of nearly the same size that would suit drive-thru restaurants. There are also plans to split the 44,000-square-foot space formerly occupied by Save Mart.
The revitalization of the center will no doubt bring jobs and increase economic opportunities throughout the city, including for printing companies that can provide Stationery items for the new tenants. Additionally flyer printing and digital Business Cards for employees are services that the new stores at the center will likely need.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards Get a Free Quote for Stationery
