A popular Clovis fundraiser that features freshly caught and cooked crabs is planning its return for another year, and its organizers will once again be welcoming guests from around the area and even out of state.
For a ticket price of $85, each person who comes to the feast will be treated to crab served all you can eat style. This will be accompanied by pasta, salad, and dessert, and an open bar will complete the occasion. The function serves as a fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Clovis, and has proved to be a big hit in previous years.
Guests who come to this annual crab feed have come to expect a live auction that will offer a wide selection of exciting items and experiences, and this year will be no exception. A silent auction and raffle have also been planned, and there will be hundreds of items on offer.
The planners of the function noted that they appreciate the assistance of the more than 75 local high school students who will be volunteering to help out during the function. The date for this festive fundraiser is February 23, and the doors will be open to diners at 6:00 pm. The Clovis Veterans Memorial District will once again serve as the venue for the occasion.
