An upcoming Clovis area event will give runners a chance to get together for fun with their friends while helping the fight against rare Forms of cancer
The Pirate 5k Booty Run will see runners dress up in their finest pirate garb to help raise awareness about this group of diseases. Each person who Signs up to take part will receive a Pirate Booty Run t-shirt, a treasure map and also a pirate bandana. At the end of the race, they will have an opportunity to win what’s in the pirate’s treasure chest. T shirts, Banners, race bibs, registration Forms, treasure maps and much more for an event like this can be custom produced by a printing services provider.
The event is open to people of all ages, and everyone is welcome to come out and get involved. The cost to register is $30.00 if done before January 9th. After that, it will be $35.00. A special registration price for children under nine has been set at $20.00 each. Donations will be gratefully accepted from those who can’t make the race but would still like to lend a hand.
The 3rd Annual Pirate's of the Cure-i-bbean 5K Booty Run will be held on January 28th starting at Woodward Park - Mountain View Shelter in Fresno. Further details and an opportunity to register are available on its website.
