Clovis quilters invited to get crafting

T-Shirts are a promotional product that people often keep as souvenirs of a special event, and a Clovis workshop will show how they can be transformed into a keepsake blanket that can be enjoyed for years to come.

A two-day class has been scheduled by KiKi’s Quilt Shack, and can be enjoyed by both experienced quilters and newbies alike. Kelly Dahl will guide the assembled quilters through the steps needed to complete the project, and the fee to take part is $40.

Each person who registers for the activity is asked to bring along a selection of tees they would like to use to make their quilt, and the work will be divided between two days. Each participant will prepare and stabilize the fabric, and the process of cutting and fusing the pieces will be included as well. It will be an in-person function, and the venue is located at 5747 North Palm Avenue in Fresno.

For an event that teaches a new skill while also providing opportunities to socialize, Stationery printers will be able to provide a copy of the pattern used so that the attendees can keep on crafting once the event is over.

KiKi’s Quilt Shack will be welcoming Clovis’s quilters for this activity on March 13 and March 27. The sessions will run from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm on both days.
