Thanks to the local Kiwanis, Central Valley’s foremost patriotic celebration is held right here in Clovis, and locals have an eye-catching display of pyrotechnics to look forward to next week.
For the past 10 years the spectacular Clovis Kiwanis 4th of July fireworks show has been voted “best in the region”. Aside from fireworks, lots of good food and entertainment are part of part of the package as well.
Freedom Fest takes place at Buchanan High School’s Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis. The gates open at 4:00 pm, and general admission is $5. Families can enjoy their backyard BBQ with friends first and then head on over to the school to celebrate with residents from all over Clovis and beyond.
Once they arrive at the stadium, they can take part in games and activities, revel in top-notch live entertainment, and eat some more. At dusk, the whole family can sit back and enjoy the spectacular fireworks display that serves as the finale.
The gates close at 9:00 pm and remain closed until the fireworks show has ended. The Kiwanis remind the public that no personal fireworks, tobacco, glass, alcohol, or pets will be allowed.
At annual events such as this one, local businesses benefit from the increased traffic and exposure they receive. The more successful entrepreneurs take the opportunity to use brochure printing services to expand their name recognition.
