Clovis lets seniors in on prom night

While a prom is often thought of as an activity for highschoolers, a Clovis evening will let its older adults get in on the fun of one of these events.

The Clovis Senior Activity Center has organized an evening soiree that will provide a prom-like experience for those on the guestlist. The theme for the occasion will be “Great Gatsby,” and both singles’ and couples’ tickets are available.

The celebration will be held in the Main Hall at 735 Third Street Clovis, and in keeping with its theme, everyone is asked to wear Roaring 1920s-style attire. Food will be served, and guests can go for a spin on the dance floor to tunes supplied by live musicians. To add even more excitement to the event, guests will be voting for Prom King and Queen and taking advantage of photo ops.

When planning a special gathering, organizers often consider which decor will be best suited to the occasion. A banner printing company will be happy to help, and can put the talents its graphic design team to work creating unique items that may also be budget friendly.

The Clovis Senior Activity Center has set the date for its Senior Prom for next Saturday, August 17. It will run from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and anyone who requires further details can call 559-324-2750.
