Clovis’s seniors are an active bunch, and a local event this summer can help them to keep healthy and live the best life they can.
A Health and Wellness Fair will be taking place in the Clovis Senior Center. Visitors to this gathering will be able to visit a variety of stations that offer health screenings, and it can also be an opportunity to learn, meet others, and just have a great time.
While they browse through the assortment of booths and displays, the guests can get a blood pressure check, and a blood glucose screening area will also be set up. There will be information on offer about Alzheimer’s and other Forms of dementia, and the crowd can even find out about how they can protect themselves from identity theft and other legal concerns.
As well as the health screenings and information tables, all the attendees can learn about some of the latest advances in assistive technology, and nutrition will also be included in the day. A raffle prize draw is on the agenda, and when they leave, all the guests will go home with their arms filled with Promotional Products, Brochures, and other items.
This chance for Clovis’ older adults to discover how they can take charge of their health will be welcoming the public on July 6. It will begin at 9:00 am, and is free to attend.
