Clovis is a community that loves its furry, feathery, and scaly friends, and these companion animals will be taking center stage during a local event.
Skye Dreams has set the date for its Furry Freedom Fest, which will be a pet-friendly 4th of July themed celebration. Clovis Rodeo Grounds will be the venue for the day, and tickets to join the fun are $8 each. Parking will be available for a small fee, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Miss Winkles Pet Adoption Center.
People at the gathering will be able to visit one of the bounce houses, and food trucks have been invited to roll in. There will be a variety of pet-related vendors with tables, booths, and other displays to visit, and water slides will help to keep the kids cooled off. Free pet pictures, a beer garden, a drone light show, and dancing under the stars to a live band will round out the festivities.
Fundraising festivals are often especially popular during the summer months. A banner printing company will be pleased to lend a hand by preparing a variety of signage and other decor.
