Clovis festival planners seek applications

Clovis offers an assortment of fun activities, and one of its most popular events will be returning in 2022.

Each year, the community's chamber of commerce gets the city's Rodeo Days off to a festive start with its Big Hat Days, and a variety of local small businesses will be taking part. This will be its 84th year, and its vendor application system is now open.

Each business or organization that submits an application will need to have its booth set up for both days of the festival, and they will have to supply their own table, chairs, and decor. Liability insurance is mandatory, and the use of electricity is not permitted.

Those who submit a request to participate are asked to provide photos of the products they plan to sell, and any new additions to this must be approved by the organizers. End cap, inline, and prime spaces are available, each of which are priced differently depending on their location and access to the public.

Community festivals that include a marketplace area often attract large crowds, making them valuable opportunities for local small businesses. If they have Business Cards, price lists, order Forms, and other marketing materials at the ready, they will easily be able to take full advantage of the opportunity presented.

This year's Clovis Big Hat Days will be bringing the fun to the community on April 2 and 3. The Chamber’s website offers application links and other details.
