Clovis craft beer lovers given cause to celebrate

The Clovis Rotary Club is a service organization that supports a variety of causes. It has issued an invitation that may be especially interesting to local “suds” lovers, as it has planned its first ever craft beer festival fundraiser.

The club’s inaugural Beer Fest, which has been organized in support of the American Cancer Society, will be putting locally produced craft beers front and center. It can give newbies and seasoned beer enthusiasts alike a chance to sample what can make small batch brewers special, and tickets for the function start at $40.

Since beer and snacks often go hand in hand, the organizers have invited some of the area’s top food trucks to be a part of the celebration. A roster of live entertainment has also been built for the occasion.

This event, which is reserved for those who are 21 years old and up due to its alcohol focus, can give craft brewers a chance to shine. The organizers noted that each ticket holder will receive a tasting glass decorated with a special graphic design, and this is included in their ticket price.

This celebration, which will transform the Clovis Botanical Garden into a festive beer garden for one evening only, will be held on May 15. The venue can be found at 945 North Clovis Avenue.
