The Clovis Police Department has made arrangements to host “The Basics of Crisis Negotiations” course, which includes 40 hours of training time. It may be especially helpful to those who are new to the field, and the learning will be spread out over five days.
During the classes, the participants will learn the fundamentals of crisis negotiations from a law enforcement perspective, and the instructors will have a background in hostage negotiation and many years of field experience in POST Plan IV.
