Big Hat Days has been a Clovis tradition for many years, and it will soon be starting this year’s celebrations with a mixer hosted by the local chamber of commerce.
The Clovis Chamber, which serves as a collective voice for local businesses and not for profit groups, has scheduled its Big Hat Days Mixer for mid-March. It will be on offer at the American Legion Cecil Cox Post 147, and both Chamber members and non-members alike may participate.
The function, which will kick off the countdown to the festivities, will give those in attendance an opportunity to connect, network, and enjoy themselves. An assortment of light bites will be served, and prize draws have been planned, including one that will see the guest with the most outrageous hat walk away with a special award.
The gathering has been sponsored by Caglia Environmental. Tickets for non-members are $25, while members may participate free of charge.

The Big Hat Days Mixer will be getting the annual festival off to a fun start on Wednesday, March 20. Tickets are available on the Chamber’s website for as long as supplies last.
