Clovis celebration to be all about craft beer

Old Town Clovis provides a connection with the city’s past, and this historic district will soon be playing host to an afternoon that will showcase craft beers produced throughout the state.

Suds in the City is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and in honor of the occasion, it will be hitting the road and heading to 601 Bullard Ave. in Old Town Clovis. The celebration is set to kick off at 2:00 pm, and each of the attendees will be able to enjoy samples from dozens of small scale breweries located in the state.

While the beers, ales, and other libations may be the big draw for many of the guests at the celebration, there will also be a number of food trucks parked at the venue. Live entertainment will also be on offer, and general admission and designated driver tickets will be available both ahead of the event and at the gate.

Tickets are currently available online for this suds-themed celebration, and their price starts at $25 each. This includes an official tasting cup, which will be printed with a graphic design prepared specifically for the occasion.

Saturday, September 14 has been set as the date for 2019 Suds in the City. It is open only to those who are at least 21 years of age.
