Car and motorcycle enthusiasts are invited to an event in Clovis that has been planned just for them.
The Hot August Daze Car and Bike Show will feature all manner of vehicles, plus a whole lot more. A dinner and sock hop have been planned for the first night of the festivities as well as the Clovis Cruise. The next day, the motorcycle and car show will give owners an opportunity to show off their customized pride and joy to the public.
Monies raised through the event will be used to help support the Elks Purple Pig Project, which is used to assist in the purchase of medical equipment, therapy and other services for disabled children in the community.
The festivities will begin on August 19th at the Clovis Elks Lodge in Old Town Clovis with the dinner dance at 6:00 pm. The next day, the bike and car show will run from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm. There is no charge for spectators, but those who wish to enter a vehicle will need to register to do so. There is an advanced registration fee of $30.00, which includes an event-shirt, lunch and also a goodie bag.
