The Rotary Club is an international community service organization, and its Clovis chapter has plans in the works for a foodie-friendly fundraiser later in spring.
The group will be welcoming the public for its first Clovis Rotary BBQ and Brew, and it will give the city a way to kick off spring in style. Several activities are on the agenda to help make it memorable, and tickets for the evening start at $65.
Those who attend the festivities will be invited to enjoy a meal of barbecued fare, and the entertainment for this evening will be provided courtesy of John Pemberton. Live and silent auctions will take place, and local craft breweries will have samples on tap. Those who are brave enough can go for a spin on the mechanical bull, for which tickets must be purchased on site. Additional drink tokens will be available as well.
Themed fundraisers like this often attract a large crowd of attendees. A poster printing company may be consulted ahead of time, and will be able to supply decor that has been specialty prepared to fit the occasion.
This inaugural event will be serving up lots of food and fun on May 14 at P-R Farms Inc. Those who purchase a ticket are welcome to begin arriving for the festivities as of 5:00 pm.
