Clovis area adds outdoor cinemas to its calendar
Whether they are looking for some local family fun or just want to spend a night together under the stars, an event that will take place not far from Clovis will take its guests back to the days of drive-in movies.
Frank H. Ball Park in Fresno will be converted into a giant outdoor cinema for its upcoming Family Movie Night Series. There are dates scheduled from mid-June to the end of July, and before the curtain goes up, there will be additional activities on offer.
The community members at the event will be able to fill up on BBQ fare, and they can also go for a swim, play some basketball and take in a live musical performance. Family-style outdoor games will be set up, and the kids can burn off their excess energy by going for a spin in the bounce house.
Those who plan on including these movie nights are reminded to bring portable seating and their favorite picnic-style snacks. A poster printing company’s graphic design team can prepare cinema-style posters to help spread the word about an activity to the public.
The festivities will begin at 5:00 pm, and anyone who needs additional details can call 559-621-6649 to speak with the planners, or check out the Visit Fresno County website for the full schedule.
