‘A Place Called Home Residential Care’, which offers a homelike setting for senior citizens, has opened a new facility in Clovis.
David and Colin Murchison started A Place Called Home Residential Care in 2012. David, a registered nurse, was unimpressed with the available Central Valley assisted living facility he encountered in conjunction with his job. Together with his brother, a businessman, they started their own homely senior care centers.
Each of the homes has a six-person capacity. One of the homes is in the gated community of Quail Lake, east of Clovis. The latest addition, which opened earlier this month at 2842 Calimyrna Avenue, joins the company’s two existing Clovis facilities on that street.
Seniors capable of independent living, as well as those who require assistance or need hospice care, can all be accommodated at A Place Called Home. The facilities are also licensed to attend to residents with memory loss, Alzheimer’s, and other Forms of dementia.
A catalog printing service can provide needed information for seniors and their families who are weighing assisted living options.
The grand opening of the newest home was celebrated, along with the news that the Murchison brothers had received the 2015 Best of the Best Award from SeniorAdvisor.com. As well as this, it earned recognition from A Place for Mom, Inc. for providing outstanding senior care.
A fifth home is scheduled to open in Clovis this summer.Get a Free Quote for Forms
