Local rotary club to host long-running crab feast

The Rotary Club of Fair Oaks will present its 33rd annual Mardi Gras–inspired crab feed this March.

The evening centers on a multi-course dinner featuring classic accompaniments and generous seafood service. The planned menu includes soup, salad, pasta, shellfish selections, and bread, followed by a dessert-focused activity designed to highlight donated sweets. Guests may bring their own wine without an added service charge. Beer, wine, and specialty mixed drinks will be available for those over the age of 21 to buy. Non-alcoholic beverages will be offered at no cost.

Beyond dining, the program includes several fundraising elements, such as a silent bidding section, a live auction, and prize drawings. Attire is flexible, with guests encouraged to dress casually or embrace festive Mardi Gras colors. Seating is assigned in advance, and electronic tickets will indicate table and seat numbers.

Admission is priced at $95 per person, which includes two beverage tickets. Full tables accommodating up to 10 guests may be reserved for $950. Butter warmer kits and additional butter will be sold during the evening, while leftover crab, if available, will be offered separately at the close of the event.

Poster printing may be used to highlight the different activities included in events such as this one.

The crab feed will be on Saturday, March 7 from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm at the Citrus Heights Community Center, 6300 Fountain Square Dr.
