Citrus Heights addresses workforce and economic growth

Leaders from different community groups will gather in Citrus Heights this September for the We Prosper Together Catalyst Summit 2026.

Organized by Valley Vision, the conference will focus on strengthening the economy across California's eight-county Capital Region. They plan to do this through collaboration, workforce development, and strategies designed to create quality employment opportunities while attracting new investment.

The summit will provide a forum for participants to review progress made through the We Prosper Together initiative and discuss future priorities for regional economic development. Attendees will include employers, elected officials, workforce specialists, educators, tribal representatives, and neighborhood advocates working to build a stronger and more resilient economy.

Organizers expect approximately 300 participants and will also offer networking opportunities throughout the event. Following the summit, the Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District will host an optional onsite reception celebrating its 30th anniversary.

Several admission categories are available. An early bird business ticket is $60, while the standard business registration is $75. Early bird public, nonprofit, and community Ticket is $30, with the regular price set at $50. Student Tickets are free with a valid student identification card. Refunds are available up to seven days before the event.

Event organizers often use flyer printing to promote conferences, share schedules, highlight speakers, and increase community awareness before large public gatherings such as this.

The We Prosper Together Catalyst Summit 2026 will take place on Wednesday, September 9th, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Citrus Heights Event Center, 6300 Fountain Square Dr, Citrus Heights, California.
