People in Helensburgh are being invited to put on their dancing shoes and take a trip down memory lane next month, with the news that a local sports club is planning a party.
Craighelen Lawn Tennis and Squash Club is planning an event that it has called ‘Dance Through the Decades’. This will feature a soundtrack of smash hit party tunes from the past right through to the present. The mix of retro and modern music that will be played on the night also means that this party is suitable for those of any age.
The venue for the event is set to be a building on East Clyde Street in Helensburgh. Those who opt to go along are being urged to do so clad in their finest fancy dress. There will be a prize handed out for the person with the most memorable outfit.
