New homes to be built at site in Helensburgh

A total of 16 new homes are set to be built in Helensburgh, after Argyll and Bute Council gave the nod to the Plans submitted by the developer.

Panacea Property is the company behind the development and its chosen site is at Rhu Road Lower, on the seafront. The plan is to convert the historic Cairndhu House into a residential block, with nine luxury flats to be built within the existing structure. There will also be an extension added to it that will provide another two new flats, while the remaining five accommodations will be made up of four garden houses and a mews house.

This was the second time that the developer had submitted the proposals to the council, with revisions having been made to incorporate one more house into them since the last time. Brochure printing services from Helensburgh Print shops can be useful to developers wanting to show how new developments will look in glossy full colour pamphlets.

Speaking to the Helensburgh Advertiser, a Panacea Property spokesperson explained:

“We are delighted to receive planning permission for Cairndhu House and look forward to protecting and restoring one of Scotland’s most treasured properties.”

The development has been designed by William Leiper and will include stained glass windows and ceilings in an Anglo-Japanese hybrid style that have been created by Daniel Cottier.
