Lomond School is situated on Stafford Street in Helensburgh and is the sole boarding and day school in the West of Scotland. It has confirmed that it will be bringing its students back at the same time as those in the state sector and is using the time between now and then to put into place Plans to ensure that social distancing can be maintained.
The school will provide groups of students with what it is calling ‘base classrooms’ and teachers will be the ones to move between the different rooms rather than the pupils. Students in each age range will also have set zones to use when entering and leaving the school, as well as for getting to washing and bathroom facilities.
During the academic year, local schools sometimes need the services of Helensburgh Stationery printers to supply them with admin Forms and teaching materials. Speaking to the Helensburgh Advertiser, Johanna Urquhart, the principal of the school said:
“We are very much looking forward to opening our doors again and getting back to some form of normality.”
Both the day and boarding parts of the school are currently scheduled to re-open on 11th August.Get a Free Quote for Stationery Get a Free Quote for Forms Get a Free Quote for Plans
