Callum Williamson Ltd is the company behind the proposed development, which would be carried out at Jutland Court and would see the existing properties there demolished.
They would be replaced by 10 brand new houses and 12 flats, plus other improved facilities such as new access options for vehicles. The houses would be semidetached with three bedrooms, while there would be six one- and two-bedroom flats each.
Furthermore, the planning application states that a number of the properties that would be constructed under the scheme would be social housing, adding to Helensburgh’s affordable accommodation stock.
While no facilities for children to use for play are currently available at the proposed location, an architect’s report indicates that a fully equipped area for this would be built as part of the scheme, aimed at young children, as well as a more casual play area for older ones.
The Lawrence Hill architect’s report also states:
“Each three-bedroom semidetached house has been allocated two front garden parking spaces with a further 21 spaces provided for the one and two bedroom flats including two for disabled use.”
This kind of development often uses brochure printers to help showcase it.
