A hotel in Helensburgh has submitted Plans to Argyll and Bute Council as it tries to get the green light to revamp the area that guests can use for sitting outdoors.
The people who own and run the Ardencaple Hotel are keen to make a number of improvements to this part of the property. These include adding coloured lights as decorations, putting in raised decking and replacing the existing seating and tables with brand-new ones. They also want to install large umbrellas and free-standing wind screens to make the area suitable for use in all weathers.
The Plans that the hotel owners have submitted to the local council include images showing the kind of booth-style seats that they want to add to the outdoor area.
Hotels often keep supplies of promotional Pens in stock that are provided by local outlets and that feature their names and branding on them, as these can help to spread the word about them when guests take them away after staying there.
The Ardencaple Hotel is a building that dates back to the 19th century, and it is situated on Gareloch Road, Helensburgh, providing visitors with stunning views over the Gare Loch.
The date for the council to make a decision about whether to approve the Plans or not is expected to be the end of May.
