The owner of SOS Fitness Ltd, Steven Losh, is seeking to receive the go-ahead from the council to transform the former hairdressing salon into a Helensburgh branch of the chain. The vacant unit is on West Clyde Street.
Losh also submitted a statement in support of this application and, according to the Helensburgh Advertiser, he stated within this that the facility he is planning would not be an open gymnasium, but rather a bespoke centre offering personal training services.
The document goes on to add that it would provide these services on a one-to-one basis, alongside team training and PT classes for small groups, with the centre being open only to those who have signed up as members:
“We will be looking to change the internal floor space so that the staff room will be changed into a male and female shower area. The rest of the internal Plans will stay the same.”
The council will make its decision by late July and if the centre does get approval, it will be able to call on places offering poster printing to promote it.Get a Free Quote for Plans
