Called ‘Save the Tower’, this group is trying to make sure that the Tower Digital Arts Centre in the town stays open for many decades to come. This venue is situated on Sinclair Street and the group wants it to be owned by the people of Helensburgh. During May it submitted the first stage in a Scottish Land Fund application and it has now announced the success of that.
What that approval means for the campaign is that the money for due diligence for the basic plan outlined by the group is now available. The Tower Digital Arts Centre is owned and managed by Brian Keating at the moment, but he is keen to retire from the role.
Speaking to the Helensburgh Advertiser, Donna Hicks from the group stated that:
“We are absolutely delighted with the news. It will give us the funds to get a business expert to look at business planning for us."
Logo Design services from Print shops in the area can help those putting together campaign groups, by providing them with branding that is both professional and compelling and helping them to use it appropriately.
This group will now organise a further engagement with Helensburgh residents, to keep them informed.
