Planning officers from Argyll and Bute Council have given the nod to the Plans submitted by Callum Williamson Ltd for Blairvadach House. These Plans involve redeveloping the building to create three flats each on the first, second, and ground floors, as well as two on a newly constructed intermediate floor. The flats that are built will be a mixture of one, two, and three-bedroom ones.
The council opted to approve the Plans after nobody living in the area or any statutory consultees expressed opposition to them. The building used to house offices for the council but has been vacant for the past seven years, since it relocated to Helensburgh and Lomond Civic Centre.
Brochure printing shops situated within Helensburgh can be invaluable to property developers in providing them with Brochures containing full-colour pictures of their homes.
According to Scottish Construction Now, the report by one of the council’s planning officers states that:
“The proposed change of use from office to eight residential apartments is welcomed as it brings back into use a vacant historical building on a prominent site which has fallen into disrepair.”
A start date is still to be announced.
