Clydebank play areas and facilities

Children and younger at heart adults in Clydebank will be delighted with the news that the Council will be spending more than £3 million on play areas and facilities around the town.

The eagle-eyed will have noticed that many improvements have already occurred  with a third of the money having already been spent in the area.  The new funding from the council will see already exisiting areas improved as well as new ones being created, with 23 different sites still to be enhanced throughout both Clydebank and the surrounding area.

Whilst swings and roundabouts will be improved, there will also be general play areas, skate parks and all weather areas too, scattered amongst the various sites.

It is hoped that these new areas and improved existing ones, will help generate community pride and lead to other developments too.   The provision of safe, stimulating and challenging play areas for kids will have health and lifestyle improvements that will benefit the communities for years to come.

Organisations such as councils can let locals know what is happening for the kids by using local printers to produce helpful Flyers and informative Booklets.
