Loch Lomond Shores at Balloch had a very unusual set of visitors recently – dogs!
The reason was that A Doggy Market had been organised and many dog owners came with their pets. Estimates of the numbers of dogs present were in the hundreds too, making the day a great success for the organisers.
The usual stalls were present, such as treats and toys for the pooches, with probably the fun-est activity being the Dog Dating. If you wanting to find your dog their ideal mate then this was a must! Each dog (and owner) was given just 4 minutes to meet the dream doggie with up to 15 dogs as their possible match. All love-dogs were given a free doggy bag!
Other workshops included Canine First Aid as well as Dog Training – Basic Level.
For the humans accompanying their dogs there was the usual food and drink options as well as local live music.
