Watford welcomes glam rock tribute

An acclaimed tribute act celebrating a 70s glam rock star is coming to Watford this spring.

Honouring music legend Marc Bolan and his group T. Rex, popular tribute band T. Rextasy will be playing the Watford Palace Theatre. Music venues hosting live performances will often enlist the services offered by Print shops, to producing promotional materials like Flyers, Banners and Posters.

Bolan and T. Rex shot to fame in the 1970s with a string of hit records like “Telegram Sam”, “Love to Boogie”, “20th Century Boy”, “Jeepster”, “Ride a White Swan” and “Get it On” and their flamboyant glam rock shows on stage.

For more than two decades and led by singer Danielz, the tribute band T. Rextasy have honed their act with shows here in the UK and around the world. Respected music paper, The Stage once commented:

“Danielz is more than a career lookalike. Here we have a serious guitarist with the animal grace of early Bolan and the clear unequivocal love of the music.”

To date they are the only group paying tribute to T. Rex that is officially endorsed by its former band members, Bolan’s family and his catalogue management service. As a result, they are commonly accepted as the official live tribute group for the 70s sensation.

T. Rextasy will play the Watford Palace Theatre at 20 Clarendon Road in Watford on Friday, May 13.
