Watford to host festive fundraiser

An upcoming coming event in Watford this winter will feature seasonal concerts designed to raise funds for a good cause.

Those looking for a festive occasion to attend in Watford in December won’t want to miss a charitable event coming to St Mary’s Parish Church. For one evening only, The Watford Phoenix Choir will be at the church, performing a carefully curated programme of Christmas songs.

All proceeds from the festive concert will be donated to the New Hope charity, which was established to aid those who are experiencing homelessness and the issues surrounding it.

Registered charities often look to experienced brochure printing services to help them create informative and engaging literature that highlights the plight of those they are set up to help.

The Watford Phoenix Choir meet up during the year at Derby Road’s Central Primary School, and is always on the lookout for new members. The choir is known for singing a diverse repertoire that ranges from traditional choral works to pop songs and show tunes. An informal and supportive choir, its focus is on celebrating the enjoyment of singing.

The Christmas concert to help New Hope will be held at St Mary's Church on Saturday, December 9. The venue is located on Church Street in Watford, and doors will open to the event at 5.00pm, with a start time of 5:30pm.
