A chain of restaurants that is among the most successful in the UK has announced that it will be launching a new branch within Watford, as part of wider expansion Plans.
Wagamama will be moving into an empty unit at the Woodside Leisure Park, after getting the planning permission needed to enable it to revamp its front section. This brand was created during the early 1990s and has become a fixture on the high street in many parts of the country since then. It specialises in Japanese food, and already has a branch on King Street, but will now open a second Watford outlet.
The unit that it will move into was previously occupied by Frankie & Benny’s, and the decision by Wagamama to take it over is just one step in its latest expansion. It will also be opening new outlets in a further nine areas, with jobs for 500 people being created as a result.
Among those locations are Chatham, Doncaster and Wolverhampton, with the latter of these having already launched late last month. When the Watford restaurant opens, giveaway Promotional Products could help spread the word.
Thomas Heier, the chief executive, said that the company had refreshed its menu last year ahead of these Plans.
A date for the opening is still to be announced.Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products Get a Free Quote for Plans
