The exhibition features works that span a wealth of different mediums and approaches, with everything from sculptures to paintings being showcased.
The Watford area is home to a number of art groups, many of which promote themselves in public places using services like flyer and poster printing. Watford Area Arts Forum is an organisation that aims to help provide space for artists and to create engagement with art in the local community. It runs events like the exhibition in Radlett as well as hosting art competitions and encouraging local people to get involved with the art scene in Watford.
The chairperson of the Radlett Art Society, Carmen Beale, spoke about the exhibition in a recent interview with the Watford Observer, saying:
“Radlett Art Society continues to go from strength to strength, in fact, this is our 47th exhibition. About a third of our members, all of mixed abilities have contributed to the show and as there is no theme, the work is very diverse – there really is something for everyone to enjoy.”
More information on Radlett Art Society is available at the exhibition itself. The showcasing is free to attend and is being held at the Radlett Centre, which is located on Aldenham Avenue. The pieces will be on display from now until this coming Saturday.
