Spring music festival arriving in Watford

Watford will soon welcome a two-day festival dedicated to jazz music from the Caribbean and Britain.

Music fans from in and around the Watford area won’t want to miss an occasion arriving in May. Dubbed the 2023 Watford Jazz Junction music festival, the event will be showcasing some of the most talented artists of the genre at the renowned Pump House Theatre and Arts Centre.

Organisers and promoters of local events up and down the country often depend on expert poster printing services to produce engaging advertisements that encourage attendance and ticket sales.

The theme of this year’s festival is honouring how the Caribbean has had a powerful impact on the UK jazz music scene. While the event is set to host legendary performers, rising stars of the scene will also be showcased.

Musicians who are already confirmed to play are the critically acclaimed composer, saxophonist and flautist Xhosa Cole, rising saxophone star Emma Rawicz and her quintet and Caribbean reggae hero Cleveland Watkiss and his band.

There will also be a workshop entitled ‘Jazz for Young Ones’ for those aged four to 12.

The 2023 Watford Jazz Junction music festival will be held at The Pump House Theatre and Arts Centre, located at 5 Local Board Road in Watford. The event will run from Friday, May 19 to Saturday, May 20.
