Famous rock group Mike + The Mechanics is preparing to play in Watford.
With the release of their ninth studio-based album imminent, Mike + The Mechanics are poised to showcase their music in Watford, and a gig has been pencilled in for early April, taking place in Watford Colosseum on Rickmansworth Road. Poster printing can be useful in the leisure sector, especially when events like this come round.
The band has plenty of admirers, having sold millions of records on an international basis. Last year, the group toured the United States. Songwriter Mike Rutherford has explained how the new album evolved, saying:
“Having toured with the Mechanics over the last 10 years, I have heard the old songs change a bit each year with Andrew and Tim singing and the same band playing.”
Several of the songs are no longer what they were in terms of length and development. The hope is that the fans of Mike + The Mechanics will enjoy listening to the altered tunes. The back catalogue of the band includes favourites like ‘Silent Running’, ‘The Living Years’, ‘All I Need Is a Miracle’ and ‘Over My Shoulder’.
Another well-known song, ‘Get Up’, has been transformed as a piece of music due to the interaction between the singers. As a result, the lead vocal is now a double one.
The Watford performance is on April 2.
