Panto season bound for Watford venue

A historic theatre in Watford will soon play host to a classic Christmas pantomime featuring local talent.

The Watford Palace Theatre will be hosting an upcoming pantomime of ‘Beauty and the Beast’. From concert halls and clubs to cinemas and theatres, local venues putting on live performances often use flyer printing services to create colourful leaflets they can distribute and spread the word about their shows.

Set in Paris, the play tells a remixed telling of the enchanting fairy tale with a theatre at its heart. A cast of comic characters vie to take the starring role on the stage but rising celebrity singer Beau seems tipped for top billing. Eager to become the leading act, a wicked magician transforms him into a beast and only the true love of heroine Belle can save him.

The theatre’s recurring Christmas pantomime is local tradition for Watford and stars its own Terence Frisch in the role of the much-loved dame. Award-winning costumes and sets and catchy songs are a part of every show designed to deliver family friendly fun and lots of laughs.

The pantomime will take place at Watford Palace Theatre at 20 Clarendon Road in Watford on Saturday, December 3. Considerately designed for attendees with different needs, tickets are available for captioned, relaxed and audio described performances of the pantomime.
