Watford will receive a visit from Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra next month.
On November 8th, Holland and his orchestra will put on a show in the Watford Colosseum. The event is going to feature a performance by Eddi Reader, who has won three BRIT Awards and has been able to make a big impact during her solo career. Holland has collaborated with Reader for over two decades and he is a great admirer of her singing.
Holland will also be joined by other accomplished performers on the night. The vocalist Ruby Turner is going to bring some soul and blues to the party, while Louise Marshall is ready to add some jazz to the mix.
The gig should include a wide range of tunes. The hope is that a blend of classics and music composed by Holland will lead to a high degree of enthusiasm among the audience, including dancing and sing-a-longs. Poster printing is often used by promoters of events like this as part of a marketing and advertising campaign.
In the past, Holland has cooperated with a wide diversity of artists. His tours have showcased performances from Joss Stone, Lulu, Melanie C, Marc Almond and Roland Gift. During 2018, Holland and Almond combined to make an album called ‘A Lovely Life to Live’.
