A number of very large warehouses for storage purposes are set to be constructed at a site within Watford, following the news that Hertsmere Borough Council has approved the Plans.
These warehouses would be built on land that is situated on the fringes of the town. The chosen stretch of land has a facility for storage already occupying part of it, while the rest is green space. When the warehouses are constructed, they will take up a total of 45,000 square metres, which means they would be as big as the average football stadium.
The outline plans for them were submitted to the council during 2023. However, it took until now for the local authority to give them the go ahead. It is thought that as many as 328 jobs will be available whilst they are being built. Once they are up and running, there would be employment opportunities for up to 558 people.
The completed warehouses would be a mix of storage space and commercial units. Any companies that opted to move into them would find other potentially useful services in Watford. These include places that provide Corporate Gifts for winning over clients.
The plans for the project indicate that it would be carried out in stages. The hope is that work on building the warehouses might start during 2025, and could be finished by the following year.Get a Free Quote for Corporate Gifts Get a Free Quote for Plans
