It is hoped that the outdoor cinema will attract plenty of visitors to Watford’s town centre over the summer. The Big Screen is free to view and it is supported by Watford Borough Council. Brochure printing can often be useful in the promotion of events in the cultural sector.
Peter Taylor, the current Mayor for Watford, told the Watford Observer:
“The Big Screen has always been a huge success. I have received a lot of positive feedback about this hugely popular event.”
Mayor Taylor pointed out that the cinema has proved to be really popular in the past. In addition, the elected representative indicated that the film programme for 2019 was more varied than any previous one. Some of the tastes associated with different age groups will be satisfied by the movies under discussion.
July films include ‘Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again’ and ‘The Incredibles 2’. Moviegoers will be able to see ‘Ralph Breaks the Internet’ and ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ during August. The first picture will be shown on July 29th, while the fun draws to an end on August 9th.
Big Events are run by the council all the year round. As well as the outdoor cinema, the council gets behind Big Sports and a Big Beach.
