A nature reserve in Walthamstow will be hosting a special spring walk designed for fans of avian species in the area and its surrounds.
Those who love the sound of birdsong in East London will not want to miss an upcoming opportunity occurring at Walthamstow Wetlands this coming May. Dubbed “The Dawn Chorus Walk”, the event is ideal for those who are and keen to enjoy the magical sounds of the many birds who inhabit the 211-hectare reserve.
Known for its natural beauty and diverse range of wildlife, the reserve broke records in 2018 when 143 species of rare bird were recorded.
Expert-led, the walk aims to offer a relaxing and enjoyable experience for participants and a chance to pick up some useful tips on identifying avian species.
