First flea market for Walthamstow centre

A high-capacity venue in Walthamstow known for housing the biggest beer hall and garden in the UK is holding its first ever flea market and encouraging residents to attend to pick up unique finds.

This event, called the “Walthamstow Flea Market”, is headed for the north eastern neighbourhood of London this summer. Arranged by top organiser, Hackney Flea, the massive market will feature more than 60 different traders that have been hand-picked especially for the occasion.

Vendors that specialise in flea, second-hand and vintage items often look to dedicated banner printing services for eye-catching signage that styles up their stands and stalls at markets, fairs and other events.

Local treasure hunters coming to the market will find vintage gems, pre-loved items and artefacts from different eras on show, ideal for refreshing living spaces and business premises alike.

Goods on sale will include rare collectables, curiosities, antique furniture, salvaged industrial fixtures, vintage garments, textiles, reclaimed lighting and electricals, homewares, unexpected oddities and more.

Walthamstow Flea Market will now be held at Big Penny Social on Sunday, July 26. The market opens at 11 am and closes at 5 pm, with the multi-purpose community venue, arts centre and pub situated at 1 Priestley Way in Walthamstow. The event will run both outside and inside the venue, and admission is charged at £3.20 per person.
