Walthamstow to offer wildlife tour

A guided excursion is being held at a nature reserve in Walthamstow next month that lets attendees find out more about its importance.

Area residents with a love of nature will therefore soon get an opportunity to learn about a protected reserve in the heart of their home, through an event called the “Discover Walthamstow Wetlands Guided Tour”. The tour is designed to be both informative and fun.

Featuring hidden histories and a first-hand experience of England’s natural beauty, the event will be led by an expert and friendly guide. Wildlife preserves in the UK sometimes work with professional brochure printing services to create attractive and informative Booklets about the flora and fauna within their borders to support and improve visitor experiences.

Although aimed at individuals aged 18 and above, those who are 11 years old or older can also join the tour if they have an adult accompanying them. While strong footwear and weatherproof outdoor clothing is advised, the tour takes place on paths and only features gentle inclines.

The guided tour is taking place on Thursday, March 12 at Walthamstow Wetlands and begins at the Engine House Visitor Centre. The excursion starts at 11 am and ends at 12.30 pm, and the meeting point is located at 2 Forest Road in Walthamstow. The centre features toilets, a café and an exhibition space.
