An upcoming event in Walthamstow is being held to allow music lovers in the area to hunt for rare recordings.
The second edition of the popular Walthamstow Record Fair will be taking place later this year, in October. The autumn event is presented jointly by Hackney Flea Market, Truman's Social Club and the Walthamstow Flea Market. Organisers of local events like markets, festivals and record fairs sometimes use poster printing services to create branded advertisements they can post in community centres, music shops and libraries to encourage attendance.
Music enthusiasts from around London are invited to celebrate everything vinyl at the six-hour event. The fair will feature 40 different tables run by local indie record labels, stores that sell vinyl and dealers in used and collectable hi-fi equipment. Experts in restoration will also be present, who will have with the skills to return vintage vinyl to its former glory.
For those looking for refreshment and a bite to eat, food and beer will be served on the day.
The Walthamstow Record Fair will be up and running at Truman's Social Club, located at 1 Priestley Way in East London on Sunday, October 16. The fair will begin at 11 am and finish at 5 pm. Entry is charged at £2 per person and the event is canine friendly. Blackhorse Road Station is the closest connection for rail and underground.
