A band famed playing rocksteady, reggae and ska are set to rock Walthamstow in the new year.
Fans of Caribbean sounds won’t want to miss an event incoming for the Walthamstow Trades Hall in February. The East London venue is proudly inviting 9-piece band The DekkerTones to its stage to play authentic reggae for audience members. Local venues that regularly host live music performances often use flyer printing services to design and produce attractive adverts that call in the crowds to shows.
The DekkerTones play reggae, ska, and rocksteady from the 60's Trojan and Bluebeat scene along with 2tone. Known for their sell-out performances, the band always play an iconic two-hour set. They originally formed back in 2013, but some of the group’s members have been playing reggae and been part of the ska scene for more than three decades.
With a history of gigs performed across England’s Southeast, they have played notable performances at Gaz’s Rockin’ Blues, the 100 Club, O2 Indigo and Skamouth.
The DekkerTones will be performing live in concert at Walthamstow Trades Hall on Saturday, February 11. The venue can be found at 61 to 63 Tower Hamlets Road in Walthamstow and has wheelchair access and local transport just 10 minutes’ walk away at Walthamstow Central. The band will be on stage from 7.30 pm and the show will end at 9.30 pm.
