An event for fans of ska music will be taking place in Walthamstow later this year.
Walthamstow residents with a taste for two-tone and ska music won’t want to miss their chance to attend the Ska Train Festival. The event presented by Pure Music Live will be returning to the East London Borough in May and promises a line-up loaded with acts from the ska and mod revivalist music scene.
Organisers of events like music festivals often rely heavily on experienced banner printing services to design and supply a range of high-quality branded signage for the occasions they host.
The upcoming edition of the music festival will be headlined by The Skatonics with support from The Ranglins, The New Highs and Dr Ska, the event’s special guest star.
The Skatonics are a 9-piece band from Kent that has received praise from ska legends The Specials and performed on stage with Madness vocalist Suggs.
Those attending the Walthamstow show will hear them perform live renditions of tracks like “Ghost Faced Killer”, “You're Wondering Now”, “Night Boat to Cairo” and “Hope Street”, among others.
The Ska Train Festival will take place at the Walthamstow Trades Hall on Friday, May 31. The local venue is sited at 61-63 Tower Hamlets Road in Walthamstow, and the event will start at 7pm. Tickets for the festival are priced at £14.90 per person.
