Nature tales coming to Walthamstow

An event designed for children is taking place in Walthamstow this summer featuring nature-themed story telling.

Renowned conservation reserve Walthamstow Wetlands will be presenting an event entitled “Nature Storytime” this August. An interactive and nature-themed story session designed for younger children, the event takes place outside in the nature reserve’s outdoor classroom and its surrounds.

Conservationists seeking to raise awareness among the public regarding the plight of rare and endangered species often look to professional brochure printing services to create informational campaign literature.

The meeting point for the event is the outdoor classroom, which can be found near the Marine Engine House. The storytelling session will be followed by a habitat exploration or a craft activity with a nature theme.

The session is ideally suited to children under the age of six, but all ages are welcome. Every child attending must have an adult accompanying them. The story session will run from 10.30am to 11.30am.

The Nature Storytime event will be held at Walthamstow Wetlands on Wednesday, August 9. The nature reserve can be found at 2 Forest Road in Walthamstow.

Those attending the event are advised to come dressed for all weather, as the session will take place outdoor whether it is sunny or raining.

No booking is required to participate, but those attending should arrive on time to avoid missing any stories.
