Summer gin taster is first for Tunbridge
Tunbridge Wells will hold its first ‘Gin in the Park’ event this summer.
This special outdoor occasion will see gin lovers flock to Dunorlan Park in Tunbridge Wells to celebrate the popular spirit with a plethora of premium labels to sample from all over the UK.
Fans of the juniper berry flavoured drink can educate themselves with specialist talks and masterclasses from industry aficionados including expert distillers while sampling never-before tried brands. Live music will add to the party atmosphere and a wide range of mixers will be available along with a whole host of hot food options.
A selected group of traders will be present at the festival, offering tastings sessions as well as a dedicated shop where visitors can pick up their favourite tipple to take home.
Ticket holders will receive a free gin glass, and a gin encyclopaedia that comes complete with tasting notes. Event organisers of festivals like this can sometimes hand out promotional products offering attendees a keepsake to remember the day.
Gin in the Park will take place on Saturday, September 19 in two sessions. The afternoon session runs from 12pm until 4pm and the evening edition will begin at 5pm and end at 9pm.
The festival is restricted to over 18s only with ticket for the day priced between £14.61 and £19.99.
