New stadium sponsor for Tunbridge Wells FC
Tunbridge Wells FC is celebrating securing a brand new sponsor for its Culverden Stadium, following the inking of a contract with Salomons that is set to last for three years.
The stadium’s name will now be adjusted to reflect its sponsorship by the events company, which is based in Southborough, with the club likely to earn £15,000 as a result of the deal.
Alongside Salomons, those local companies associated with it – the Times of Tunbridge Wells, So Magazine, Next Dimension Gymnastic Academy and One Warwick Park Hotel – are also involved.
Chairman of the Southern Counties East League side Clive Maynard told BDaily that this new funding would enable the club to move forward and construct a squad that could achieve promotion, adding:
Local football clubs often choose to make use of brochure printers in Tunbridge Wells and similar places, as they can provide them with their matchday programmes.
Salomons’ operations manager Andrew Daniells stated that the firm wanted to ensure the original stadium name remained in place, as it is important to supporters, and added that the company was hoping to enjoy a lengthy and successful linkup with the club.

“Our aim is to reach the Ryman League as soon as possible. The ground has been graded as being ready for the step up to it, and this new deal gives us great encouragement going in to the new season.”
